MR DJ COMS15 2-Way PA DJ Passive Speaker gives you a rock solid and well-voiced unpowered PA DJ speaker at a nice price. These will take line from pretty much any external amplified source or power amp you're using and deliver 2500 watts P.M.P.O. of power easily. And with no heavy onboard preamp, these speaker cabinets can do what they do best -- deliver great sound!
The input section has One Speakon jack and One 1/4" TS phone jack and One 1/4" TS phone jack Output
MR DJ COMS15 handle 2500 watts P.M.P.O peak power and run with a nominal 8-ohm impedance. They can achieve 134 dB SPL, so yes, they get loud. Loud enough, at least, for any medium- to large-sized room and/or some outdoor applications (outdoor receptions, concerts in the park, etc.).
Open them up and you'll find a MR DJ 15-inch 80 OZ low-frequency Woofer with 3" voice coil. This design provides more cross-sectional wire area to allow the power to flow more freely through this crucial section.
